Terms and Conditions - Beulah Films First Nations Film Grant Application
1. General
- These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the application process for the First Nations Film Grant (the "Grant") offered by Beulah Community Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"). By submitting an application, you ("Applicant") agree to be bound by these Terms.
- We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Grant, or to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice.
- All decisions made by us regarding the Grant are final and binding.
2. Eligibility
- Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria as outlined in the Grant guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, being a First Nations filmmaker or storyteller (Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander).
- Applicants must provide accurate and complete information in the application form.
- We reserve the right to disqualify any application that does not meet the eligibility criteria or contains false or misleading information.
3. Application Process
- Applications must be submitted through the official application form on our website by the specified deadline.
- Late applications will not be considered.
- Applicants are responsible for ensuring that their application is complete and received by us.
- We are not responsible for any technical issues that may prevent an application from being submitted.
4. Grant Award
- The successful Applicant will be notified via email.
- The Grant amount is $15,000AUD and will be distributed as outlined in the Grant agreement.
- We reserve the right not to award a Grant if, in our sole discretion, no suitable applications are received.
5. Intellectual Property
- The Applicant retains ownership of the intellectual property in their application materials.
- However, by submitting an application, the Applicant grants us a non-exclusive license to use their application materials for the purposes of evaluating the application, promoting the Grant, and showcasing successful projects.
6. Confidentiality
- We will treat all application materials as confidential and will only disclose them to those involved in the evaluation process.
- However, we may be required to disclose information as required by law.
7. Privacy
- We will collect, use, and disclose the Applicant's personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- By submitting an application, the Applicant consents to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by the Applicant in connection with the Grant or the application process.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia.
- Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We recognise their continued connection to the land, waters and culture.
